I'm really liking how Google seems to be building tools that better organize contact information. The latest one that I recently discovered was the ability to show the birthdays of all your Google contacts in your Google calendar.Kinda cool.
The option is within the Google calendar settings -> Calendars tab -> "Browse Interesting Calendars..." link
